About Us

Experience Means Everything: Tim Shawl, President, began welding in 1979. He started North Country Welding in 1987 and has been doing business at his Watertown address ever since. Tim has two employees, Steve John and Ed Dusharm, who have been working for him for the past 20 years. Other employees have been working around metal and welding for just as long. With over 100 years of combined experience, we mean to get the job done right!

Being from the North Country, owner Tim Shawl takes pride in catering to the small odd job, or farmer. “Sometimes the dairy farmer just can’t wait! The cow needs to be milked!” We bring the same consideration to all our customers, big or small. “If they need it yesterday, we will do our best.”
